Dr. Kimberly Carroll DPT, ATC, MTC

 

Kimberly is a Fernandina Beach native. After graduating from Fernandina Beach High School, she attended the University of Florida, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Sport Science, specializing in Athletic Training. While at UF, she worked with the intramural sport programs, area high schools, and spent a year with the UF Volleyball Team, accompanying them to the SEC Championships. After leaving Gainesville, Kim attended The University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences, where she received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation from USA, she began working in the outpatient setting, and also worked as an athletic trainer for Yulee High School. Kimberly has been practicing outpatient orthopedics since 2009, and is a certified Manual Therapist, specializing in hands-on techniques of the spine and extremities.  She has achieved full body certification through Active Release Techniques, or  (www.activerelease.com), and has been certified in Dry Needling (the use of solid, single use needles to release soft tissue trigger points). She is also qualified to treat pelvic floor dysfunction, involving incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Kimberly’s main goal is to help her patients return to full function as quickly as possible.
